Level 1: An Introduction to Adult Safeguarding 2024

Detail:

This level is a basic awareness course for adult safeguarding.

It should be completed by all staff that work for an organisation where there is contact with adults with care and support needs.

The Safeguarding Board does not generally expect staff who do not work directly with adults with care and support needs (e.g., reception staff, catering staff, facilities staff, etc) to complete any further safeguarding adults training past Level 1.

However, please refer to your organisation’s training policy as they may have a greater expectation.

Staff who do work directly with adults with care and support needs should go on to attend either the Level 2 (Awareness) and/or Level 3 (Designated Lead) courses after completing this e-learning (or in-house equivalent).
