Vicarious trauma occurs when professionals absorb the emotional and psychological impact of others’ traumatic experiences through empathetic engagement. • Explore trauma informed practices
  • Explore healing informed practices
  • Consider how to reduce the impact, organisationally and individually

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Identify the key signs and symptoms of vicarious trauma
  • Understand secondary trauma, vicarious trauma, burnout and moral injury
