Stress and Secondary Trauma

Claire has an MSc in Health Psychology (University of Bath) and is passionate about both data collection in the TRC and also secondary trauma. She has a psychology degree and a masters in Health Psychology. She works at the TRC in the senior management with responsibilities for HR, data and operations.
Learning Objectives: by the end of the day it is envisaged that delegates will:
- Have an understanding of chronic toxic stress and secondary trauma
- Understand the impact it has on the health of the mind, body, emotions
- Managing stress, building resilience and strategies to avoid secondary trauma
- Creating a healthy mind and body from a behaviour change perspective, with key areas to focus on: exercise, food and self care.
